How to Avail the Service

1 File application together with requirements  

Receive and forward documents to Wildlife Regulation Section (WRS)

– 1 hour Records Unit
  1. Duly accomplished application form.
  2. Export permit.
  3. For live specimens, Phytosanitary (for wild plants)/Veterinary Certificate (for wild animals) issue by the authorized agency of the country origin.
Evaluate documents

Documents complete?

If no, go to step 2.

 

– 2 hours CITES Officer, WRS
 2 Receive the incomplete application If Yes.

Prepare Order of  Payment.

– 15 minutes CITES Officer, WRS
 3 Pay the required fees Receive payment and issues Official Receipt – 15 minutes Cashier Unit
4 Present the original copy of the Official Receipt of WRS Receive the original copy of Official Receipt – 5 minutes CITES Officer,  WRS
Draft Import Permit – 2 hours CITES Officer,  WRS
  Review, initial and endorse permit to the Chief, Wildlife Resource Division – 1 hour Chief, WRS
Review, initial and endorse permit to the Assistant Director’s Office – 1 hour Chief, Wildlife Resources Division
Approve/sign permit and forward signed permit to Records Unit – 1 hour Director
Affix permit number, CITES and agency seal, and date of issuance and expiry – 20 minutes Records Unit
Release permit to the applicant  – 20 minutes Records Unit
 Sign the Transmittal Letter  CENRO
 5 Applicant receive the original copy of CITES Import Permit
